Anybody know where this is and what it was for?

No guesses, then i will have to tell where and guess what it was used for.

Part of old Royal Navy site at Corpach presumably an engine/generator base with clearance for a flywheel of some sort! pure guess work offcourse!!
if anyone has any other ideas what it was, please enlighten me!
