Banavie Hotel Postcard
Another Peter Finlayson published postcard "The Stores Banavie".Interesting photo of after the fire which gutted this magnificent building in 1924 so the date must be late 1924 or there abouts. see also picture #29 picture #52

Found another picture in "The caledonian Canal Lochs, Locks and Pleasure Steamer" book by Guthrie Hutton page 42 which confirms my theory above. The front of this building faced the Canal. pity i cant publish it here!

I was trying to figure out where abouts this was taken from and came up with the conclusion that it would be either standing at the front of the Moorings Hotel now or in the bar area now, maybe go for the latter sounds good to me!
anyone else have any ideas?
